A Hidden Paradise

A few months ago, I happened to turn my head as I was driving home from work.

I cannot count the number of times that I have traveled up and down that particular road, and yet I never noticed the stunning house set back from the road.

To reach the house, you must climb a long staircase.  So, of course, I had to explore on foot and see if the spot was as amazing as it looked from the street.  And it is!

Turns out, the house is fabulous and has a lovely, but rather wacky lady living in a converted basement (the owners who live upstairs were not home).

I guess I will just have to keep my eyes open from now on!

  1. You've got me swooning over your wonderfully pretty floral print dress. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I can never get enough of feminine flower prints like this, especially when they're part of a gorgeous creation that you've made.
