2022, A Year in Review

Ah yes, it's that time of year again; time to sift through of all of the handmade items that made it to the blog this year.  I am actually surprised that I posted as much as I did.  There were plenty of unmotivated and stressed out moments in 2022, but we made it through.  And as always, the creative side of my life helps me navigate the crummy parts.

There were a few rather time consuming and involved projects, which are always going to be my favorite kind.  And there are quite a few more that I have up my sleeve if I ever manage to get started.  I did manage to make a few matching pieces for separates that were already in the wardrobe, which is something that I struggle with, so I am pleased with that.

And then there was that quilt that I finally finished!  That was pretty darn exciting.  Which reminds me that I should get back to my hexi quilt, because the day that I get to sleep underneath that one is going to be pretty amazing.

And not to be forgotten are all of the items that I stitched in the year 2022, but never managed to post.  I am not one for resolutions, but I am going to try my best to post more of my finished garments in a timely manner . . . which is what I always say . . . but I am going to do my best.  I would also like to pull out a few of the really special fabric pieces that I have stashed away and work with those this year, because at this point, what am I waiting for?!  So here is to another year of creativity, and spending time doing the things you love!

Happy sewing, everyone!
